Comfrey Salve

Contains: pure olive oil, natural beeswax, comfrey leaves and essential oils of lavender and tea tree. 

Comfrey is also known as Knitbone.  It has been used by herbalists traditionally to help regenerate proper joint function and healthy connective tissue, healthy bones, and many skin disorders.   The lavender essential oil adds antibacterial, anti-fungal and antimicrobial properties to the salve.  Tea Tree essential oil is best known for its antimicrobial activities. It contains the compound Terpinen-4-ol which is thought to be the responsible for fighting all three categories of infectious organisms (bacteria, fungi, and viruses).

Apply liberally to external areas as needed to help with fragile capillaries, minor injury, minor burns, abrasions, scrapes and bruises. 

Caution: External Use Only. This product should not be taken internally or applied to broken skin.

Always be sure the wound is cleaned properly before applying Comfrey Salve since the rapid healing can trap in dirt and cause an infection. Should the risk of infection is present, use Bear Bridge Farm's All-purpose salve or Calendula salve first, and use Comfrey salve for rapid healing once infection is no longer present.
