Burdock

Burdock is cultivated for food in Japan and is consumed as an everyday vegetable, similar to a carrot. Native Americans were known to use the whole plant as food, boiling the root in maple syrup.

Burdock root has been used for centuries as a blood purifier and liver cleanser. It is considered one of the best herbs for skin-related conditions, as these are often related to a congested and sluggish liver. Burdock is a mildly bitter herb, it stimulates the release of gastric juices and aids digestion. Burdock is traditionally used to sooth the skin, helping to alleviate the irritation and discomfort associated with various causes. Some studies have shown that burdock may possess liver protective qualities. Burdock has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, as well as contain potent antioxidants.

Made from organic certified herbs: fresh Berdock root, and grain alcohol. Herb:Alcohol Ratio 1:2.

15 to 60 drops, 1 to 3 times daily or as directed. Shake well before use.
